where do you plug in a sync cable on the cannon rebel xt???????

if im not mistaken it doesn't have a pc out, like the nikon d70 and canon 300d. get a wein safe sync....it has a pc out and hot shoe and wont let high voltage stuff fry your camera. I use one of those and it's been all good.

The 350-XT doesn't have a PC sync terminal. It also lacks the connector that my 10D has for remote controls, so my remotes and timers won't work with it either.

There are lots of hot-shoe to PC adapters out there. The Wein Safe-Sync is fine, but it costs $50. I got an AlienBees Hot Shoe Adapter for $14.95, and it works fine on my wife's 350-XT with AlienBees strobes. If your flash units have more than 6v, then you should go with something like the Wein Safe-Sync to cut the voltage down to 6v or less.
