I went out to an Ice Climbing festival this past weekend and photographed some climbers. One of the climbers wanted me to email some shots to him and he wants to buy some 8X10's of him. What is the price range of what I should say to sound kind of professional, but not too professional of a price to scare him off, but also not to amateur and too cheaply?

My suggestion is to get hold of "Photographers Market 2003" from your local bookstore (it's worth it) or library. In there you will find real-world price guidelines for many types of sales. Unfortunately, I don't have my copy here in the office with me.
