OMG (Oh my goodness--polite & pc), it's finally happened. I've finally killed some threads. Two to be in fact. :)
Anyway, still consider myself a newbie here, and I think am finally getting the picture. HA! There are still some abbreviations that I don't get. Could somebody post some of the abbreviations used here.
I finally figured out that IMHO doesn't stand for I'm a hoe. :) |

Depends on who you ask...
Me: In my humble opinion
Others who are more sure of their abilities: In my honest opinion

Try googling - you'll get more answers than you actually wanted.
Here is one of many lists |

| It might be easier if you ask about specific ones you still don't know. There are lots of abbreviations (and some that are better left un-spelled out.) |

OMG, ROTF ... does anyone still use MIRC? Haven't been on that since Yahoo Messenger became popular I believe. I'm a complete Myspace addict myself now... argh. Another net addiciton to waste hours of time... very similar to DPC.

An acronym search engine may be easier than scanning through lists.

yeh, it actually is making a bit of a come back (might be beacuse you can use trillion to irc (oh Internet Relay Chat). A few years back you could log onto a once popular network and there would be 7 users. Now there seem fairly popular again.
I can't myspace, it drives me nuts. |

A couple of DPC (Digital Photography Challenge) originals.
WWYT - What Where You Thinking?
Chit - The name of a fellow a while back who made a big enough splash his name has been immortalized in the porcelain of common usage. Used in many different contexts, almost as versatile as the F-word, with usages such as 'Oh Chit!' and 'That looks like Chit.'
David
/edit - corrected ackward wording
