I bought the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 IS L. Took some awesome nature pics this weekend, and wanted to share, but might use one of them in the Free Study. Its really a sweet lens even if my arms are tired.

It was a combined christmas, birthday, and anniversary gift.

I have those three within 30 days, so I'm getting a combined gift, too - a Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM !!

Oh gosh yes ~

In the last 2 weeks, I have ordered the 70-200 f4, 17-40 f4, Rebel XT (just plan on using it while my 20D is at the factory repair place, then selling it at cost: $560 w/o lens after rebate... but I have a local buyer lined up, sorry:) and a 3-light setup from Alien Bees with accessories...

I got my Christmas gift early too, last week. My BF got me an OPUS kit of flashes, stands, umbrella, soft box, barn doors and coloured filters. All in a neat carrying case. I've been practicing with it, at first it was really frustrating because I've never used them before. But I am getting the hang of it and I love it now. Still have a lot to learn though.

I picked myself up an Xbox 360! :)

.... oh and I'll probably get a 70-200 f/4.0L if I am a good boy for the rest of the year!

Yep, mine are within thirty days also. Thats how I got my first car, which was cheaper than this lens. I think there was a belated HS graduation gift thrown in there also.
