Accident while ski racing 20 years ago resulting in dislocated and fractured humorous (NOT!!!)...this is the x-ray just before injection of morphine and IV Valium. Then two ski patrolmen grabbed the end of a towel looped under my armpit while the doctor pulled on my wrist - resulting (eventually) in the relocation of the joint. Several months recovery. Not anxious to try again.

Some say that I put the tree up too early! I say it's the "Revenge of the Angel". I fell whilst trying to put the star on. We've always used an angel until that fateful day! My tree looks as deformed as I did. I can't wait to finish decorating it. Although I may have to use a fork lift this time!
Thanks to everyone for their well wishes, stories, photos and encouragement!

I dislocated my shoulder when I slipped in the shower after my wife tried a new kind of cleaner or something -- left the place very, very slippery. It hurt (a lot) but I didn't need medical attention. Just kept it in a store bought sling for a couple of weeks -- using it for what I could to build strength.

Hope you get back on your feet again soon.
