Ok, I smoked for a lot of years. When I quit I did not become this raving lunatic about smokers and where and when they could smoke. But I did say no more smoking in my house. My daughter respects this as she still smokes and never complains. I can't stand the smell of cigarette smoke at all. Not on clothes, in a room/car, etc. But there is one place that it is absolutely disgusting...
I come home and take the dogs out as usual. While I am out in the back with the dogs, my daughter comes home with her friend. They come in the house. I stay out with the dogs for about 20 minutes more. When I come in my daughter is in the shower and her friend is in the kitchen...smoking. This is not so bad in itself, but when I walked in he was knee deep in my refrigerator blowing out his smoke. When I opened the refrigerator afterwards it STUNK! They just left and I have the door open, two boxes of baking soda - one in freezer. I can't believe how gross this smells - refrigerated smoke.
EDIT: typos

Refridgerated smoke - sounds interesting! Did you get a shot of it as you opened the fridge door? LOL
Methinks you need to have a quiet word with your daughter who needs to have a quiet word with her friend!

I did politely point out to him that there were no ashtrays...
"Umm..did you notice there were no ashtrays?"
"Oh..yeah. Where are they?"
"There is no smoking in this house so there are none."
"Oh...I guess I should put this out." {sly look into the fridge as he blows out third drag into it}
"Well, I would appreciate it. Also, did you know that for every minute the door is open on the refrigerator it takes fifteen minutes of running time to get back to temperature?"
"I'll go outside to finish this." |

Yeah, why was he smoking in the house if there is a NO SMOKING rule in affect? I am smoker, and there is NO smoking allowed in my house.... last winter when it was freezing outside with windchills near zero.... I still went outside and had a smoke (I almost froze to death, but it beat being bitc*y to everyone in my house!!!)
But if that is the rule.....
Now, I just need to quit!
