I remember seeing a link somewhere that explained how to fix hot spots on a photo. Can someone point me to it? |

Hot spots or blown out spots contain no pixal data, so you will never be able to bring back the detail. If it is a portrait, the best thing I can tell you to do is, select the paint brush tool and reduse the opacity to about 8 percent then choose a forground color that is close as possible to the subjects skin tone. Then lightly paint over the blown out area.
