I just found out that I will be going to the US Virgin Islands over Thanksgiving, I have not yet decided on which island to stay so if anybody has a clue ware to stay (or ware not to stay) that would be helpful also if anyone has a opinion on which island is the most photogenic.

Thanks,

My Grandmother is taking the whole family there for Thanksgiving too. We're staying on St. John, which is supposed to be very scenic because most of it is a national park.

I have stayed on both St John and St Thomas, and loved them both - though St John is much less populated and less touristy. Have a great time!

I was only there for a day two years ago, will be back in Jan 2006 on a cruise ship once again!

I am sure you will love it! Have a great time

My dream is to stay on Jost van dyke! Research that one. I have heard nothing but good things about it. You can also have a sip of foxy's firewater rum! Mmmmmmmm! Have fun!

went to St. John this summer.

A beautiful place. The only day I spent on St. Thomas we had nothing but rain.

If you go to St. John, I would highly recommend a restaurant (but can't for the life of me remember its name). It has a reputation though for good, reasonably priced seafood (the best we had on the trip), but also has hummingbird feeders everwhere. There had to be at least 30 humming around all during dinner. My camera battery died,so of course I missed out. If you ask a local, they should be able to steer you there.

Try St. John, there is a small rib shack, and I mean shack, near the post office in Cruz Bay. Stop in, best ribs ever.
