There were no sexual references in the movie that I saw.
The only thing that could have possibly be linked with that was a slight turn of the camera to some girls walking and a flash back at Rons face with his jaw slightly open. But it all happened so fast I doubt most kids could even correlate what he was even looking at.
Also, as far as the death scene goes. He was struck by a lightning bolt (no guts or gore shown)....not like he was stabbed, strangled or shot.
that would have been too much.
I just didn't find it to be real scary. Now something like THE RING or THE GRUDGE? yes.
Oh, we've let her watch Lord of the Rings too. I guess I can now expect backlash from that too. LOL

| Did I miss something last night? I'm usually pretty good at picking up sexual innuendo, and I didn't catch any in this movie. Yeah, you had teenage kids needing to find dates for a dance and the tension between Ron & Hermyoninny (which they left that name out of the movie...funniest thing in the book, IMHO), but no sexual innuendo. Someone please tell me what I missed. If you're talking about Ron not wanting to put his hand on McGonagall's waist...PLEEEEZE |

| You probably didn't miss anything. Certain people just likes to question everyones rights to make descisions for themselves and thier family. |

I haven't been able to see it yet, my weekend doesn't start until tomorrow. I was just commenting on all possible objectionable content for youngin's, and content that I personally try to keep my kids from.

| Get there early. It fills up fast. Be sure to go pee first, you don't want to miss a moment by having to get up and wee. haha |

Man I always have to pee in the middle of movies. I can go hours plaing video games or photoshopping it seems, but get me in a theatre, and I'm like a 5 year old with a pants wetting problem. sheesh.

There are many similarities to watching movies and viewing (critically) photos. We glance only in the most superficial way. We miss and overlook a lot, especially if it is subtle. We are poorly trained to 'look' and analyse. What you or anyone does with their children is their business. Not mine. However do not underestimate the influence or power of these image on children and us. |

Believe it or not. NOBODY got up and peed during the movie. That was the first time I ever noticed NOBODY getting up.
The movie is long, but goes by fast, so jammed packed full of action and interest. Seriously, if you get up, your gonna miss alot. You never know when good stuff is gonna happen. |
