Not sure if this will help anyone, but my g/f is a big Black Friday type. She belongs to some boards that leak the Day-After-Thanksgiving ad copy of the big retailers. This morning she showed me this - //www.bf2004.net/bestbuy.html. Seems Best Buy is going to be having a $40.00 special on 1GB compact flash cards. The 512's will go for $19.99. While I haven't checked the other stores I would bet that they would have their own competitive specials. Nice thing is that you can shop for the family as well as for your own habit.
Oh, one last note - if anyone needs a small personal photo printer, OfficeMax is having a two day sale (ends on 11/19) on one of their models (an Epson, I think) - regularly $125.00, now $79.99.
Hope this helps someone.

Why does it say bf2004? Also, the link doesn't seem to work now...

The link works... just take the period off the end (the URL should end with just html, not html. with a period).

It shows staples as having a 1Gb CF Sandisk card for $39.94 as well.
Now i need some dvd-r for the Tivo box...
and I suppose it's about time i get a DVD burner for the computer...my 60Gb dive is 90% full now...and CD burning of pics is about useless!
