I have working for my new camera and trying to take photos of the moon but trying out some other night photos. This is a 4 second exposure. Any advise on how to make this better?

Get out your tripod and re-shoot girl! It's a neat shot and I'm glad i'm not drinking because that crooked lightpost would have me on the floor! LOL!!
I'm learning how to do night-shots myself... I'll be watching this thread for li'l tid-bits. :-) |

I can tell that you were just trying out the camera. I did the same with I got my D70. I went out in my yard at night and took shots of my windows!
Lets forget the "subject matter" of the shot....and say... The shot looks like the camera was steady...
...it is also not too over exposed...except on that big middle light....
....it also has a green tint to it...I'm not sure why...was there a green light?

the light in the middle is a bit distracting. i agree it needs a main subject. the lighting overall is pretty cool, but running it through an 'auto colour balance' on ps would help it too i think.
