To replace my defective EN EL3...and nice new EN EL3e...I think this one has a higher capacity or something who knows, but I know this is the one you want to get as the replacement.

you will have to get the D200 to go with it now :)
it's the new battery for the D200 but is backwards compatible with your camera
they say you can get 1800 shots per charge when used with the D200

| If I remember correctly from my research a few days ago. The EN-EL3e and EN-EL3a are both 1500mAh, while the original EN-EL3 is only 1400mAh. Makes it hard to complain about the recall. I'm psyched, I got an e-mail notice that mine was shipping out today. It might actually get here before I leave on vacation next week! I had figured I wouldn't see it until Christmas... |

Won't the e one also talk to the D70s (or is it the D50?) to tell you how much battery life you have left, instead of just waiting to give you an alert when you're about to run out?
A D70s is the top item on my in-my-dreams wishlist. A guy "borrowed" one of my photographs and used it in a magazine ad this past summer, and I'm in, um, negotiations to get paid for that, and if the stinker ever pays me, the money's going right to Ritz Camera for a D70s. :) |
