When I was reading about other people's E-500's not getting delivered on time, I was convinced you were going to be disappointed too.

And given how much you were looking forward to getting it, that would have been just unbearable... :)

I just charged the battery last night- took about 6 hours. I took a few pics this morning to get a feel for it but nothing worth posting lol. I'm taking my daughter to the park later and hopefully the swans will still be there. Going to take some pics there. Tried to get a pic of our wolf, but the other two dogs were hogging the spotlight.
I'm reading the manual though. So much I can do with it and so many settings and all. I need a class just for the camera!

Curious - 6 hours on the battery chraging? Hmmm...my rebel is 90 minutes or less.

Well maybe it didn't take 6 hours, but I put it in the charger at 7, went to bed at 10 and it was still charging. Hubby woke up at 3 to let the dog out and said it was done- it says in the manual not to let it charge for more than 10 hours.

So maybe it just took that long because it was a first time charge? I have no idea. Anyhow, I shot a TON of pics today at the park lol. I think I'm having a harder time learning the computer program than I am the actual camera! The kodak program is a lot easier to use, this one seems slower. Was so much fun be able to take more then one pic at once and no waiting. And I can't believe how clear they come put compared to my lil p&s.

Okay I just posted it under the individual photography thread- or whatever it is lol. But here's the link again. Some of the pictures were from my other camera, but the ones starting at Beaverdam park to the end are all from today. I took over 92 shots and those were the ones I liked the best. Well there were a couple others, but I may be entering one for the even or odd challenge- can't decided which yet.

The menus are still taking me some getting used to, but I have the basic ones that I use all the time down.
