I just converted from paint shop pro x to CS2. so far i am enjoying it, but i have never been a photoshop user before.

anyway, any tricks/tips would be appreciated.

also, which plug-ins are must-haves? and which are trash?

i am so excited!! my software just grew up!! :)

Lol, I'm almost as happy for you as you must be, and i don't even have it... i can't even afford to look at it :( hope you enjot it!!

i got it for graduation....otherwise i'd still be using my paint shop x trial......

well, i dont exactly use plug-ins with my photoshop. The only plugin you'll really be needing will be CameraRAW when you start to shoot RAW with a newer camera.

Photoshop CS2 is an amazing program. It has developed so much you don't need any plugins for it, it does everything. Even NeatImage is obsolete now, not that I ever used it anyway. The best new functions are the "smart sharpen", the "Vanishing Point" filter, the "Reduce Noice" filter, the "Transform Warp", and the "Group Layers" function. If you can learn how to use those right, you don't need any third party filters at all.

Here's something very important:

Turn on/Activate your history log

This comes in very handy when requested for validation ;) I've had this happen to me a few times.
