Hey there,

I've been working on that sad rural movie I was talking about and have it all shot, but I thought for now I'll share this recent movie I made for sociology class.

We were put into groups and had to do a humourous skit on family life, our category was 'Child Rearing' which is anything to do with raising a child. I couldn't help it so I made my group create this cheesy movie in the style of one of those 50's instructional videos with me. Did it at the one guy's house while his parents sort of sat back and 'WTF'd.'

Don't watch it if you get offended easily, it's riding on a thin line of whats 'acceptable' at school but that's what I tend to do with all my projects... ;-) However, my teacher thought the script was hilarious. So anyway... I present yet another light-hearted, stupid-funny, wtf-movie.

"Child Rearing and You!" (3.57mb)

Launch the movie!

P.S. Aside from directing and editing it, I also played the father George, the tutor and did all the over-expressionate voice over narraration.

And thanks to Kelly (CalliopeKel) for hosting it until my site gets back up.

How is it that whenever I randomly click a new forum it's a video you made? Well done again, it was very funny. Was the narrator's voice supposed to sound like Southpark canadians, or is it how all canadians sound? :)

& Wow @ "lazy whore" and "f-beeping tramp" and "mom is a hoe"! Those weren't edited out for class?

Twisted! Twisted I tell you!! :-) I see big things in your future, for real. I went to a performing arts high school and you could just tell the folks that were going do something big. One of my drama classmates, Lou Romano (google him) was like you in some ways, amazing character actor, did great little films. Last thing he did was the Production Design for the Incredibles with alot of little stuff in between. But I digress, I'll just say that your movies remind me alot of the quirky things Lou used to do so.... big things man, big big things. ;-)

If you liked Joey's, I highly recommend everyone check out Billy's Dad is a Fudgepacker which is sort of the same kind of thing. A friend of mine worked on it, and it would have a G rating despite the name. Check it out. Funny stuff.

Good grief!

Fantastic.

I haven't seen any of your other flicks, Joey, but if I can find them, I surely will.

Fabulous stuff. Keep 'em coming. Yes, you have a talent. Nurture it.

It seems very good, BUT we deaf people are at a bit of a disadvantage here, Joey. Maybe send a script to me?
