yah - can we flip?
(as in rotate canvas flip horizontal) or is that a no-no under moving pixels/major elements.
Erm - Advanced rules if it matters. |

I believe so. At least I have done it in the past for both Basic and Advanced so I hope so. |

I'm pretty sure you can crop and rotate. |

Legal in both because it's an operation applied to the whole image. |

yes its fine as you are rotating the ENTIRE image.
many entries on DPC have been rotated

It doesn't seem to me that she's asking about rotating the image. I think she's asking about FLIPPING the image, which I belive is also fine. if I'm remembering correctly, flipping is also allowed.
Edited to add that I just realized the other thread is someone elses. Remembered seeing her name in there though. lol

Well, there's a difference for sure, which is why I asked. We knew rotation was ok, right? In theory flipping is no more of an alterationt han roatation, in the sense of pixel-moving...

I did it for a basic challenge a while back - there was a thread where I asked the same question (but cannot find it right now). I believe SC replied on that thread. |
