PrintRates.com has price comparisons for prints at about 35 different locations (online and brick & mortar). Pretty neat. |

I think they've just highlighted the cheapest prices in each category. A few other stores have highlights too. I have no idea whether or not they're biased (or paid) but since they link to the site, I guess it wouldn't be too hard to find out! |

I already looked it up - I don't think they are ACTUALLY related. It's just that PE Photo has such great rates, with the red (lowest) and blue (near lowest) it looks like they "win" lol
Good link! I posted it elsewhere too.

I'd wait to get the shipping rates as well. Also calculate in shipping time and hassle if you have a problem with the prints.
I use both online printing and a local brick and mortar store. There are times where I need something now. Quality will vary depending on the skill of the techs printing and the condition of the machines.

Did you see the recomended sizes for prints at PEPhoto?
this page - //www.pephoto.com/FAQ.htm
Image Resolution Picture Size
>288 x 432 4x6â
>360 x 504 5x7â
>576 x 720 8x10â
Man, I guess they use a magical printer machine to make 8x10s from TINY TINY TINY files!
Says they use Konica laser printers....not exactly what I want my pics to be.
