I'm having a hard time deciding and choosing a 2x or 3x teleconverter for my G6. Is there a brand that is known to be the "best" for this job?

Like I said in your other post, there just doesn't seem to be much out there on the subject. Places like dpreview are the only ones that do in depth reviews and such on the subject, and they are mor interested in the cameras than the add-on's. They're also the only one's that could to the tests, because they get all the free cameras to test the add-on's with.. oh well.

BTW- I did go over to B&H, they have several sony and canon 1.75x teleconverters, they are probably the highest quality ones you can get. If I knew of a store that sold any of these, I'd go out and make some test shots, but I don't, so I can't.

Thanks, you're probably right. I probably couldn't go wrong w/ a Canon lens.
