I can't seem to find out how to ask for a validation before I submit a photo to a challenge. Can anyone guide me?

Before you submit? I'm not sure there's a button anywhere to do this. But you might want to try PMing one of the SCs. I'm sure they can help.

I think once you submit you can check a box that does this. It is Request validation. Go ahead and submit and try it. You can unsubmit if it is not there.

| So if I submit and the shot is deemed not "allowed" in challenge...I can unsubmit before voting starts? |

| Don't think so, no one will validate before voting starts. You better PM SC and ask to be sure. |

You can unsubmit anytime before voting starts but no one will see it and ask for calidatrion until voting starts.

I think I'm pretty safe. I just used the adjustment layers in normal mode and some sharp.

I would email the original and edited versions to a SC member. Be sure to note all editing steps. They'll post it to a SC thread and get a few opinions on it and let you know. You can't get it validated before voting, due to the fact that we could validate the pic, and then you could replace it with a different pic, but if you're wondering if what you've done is legal, then I would do that. If you're going out of town and need to validate before leaving, then still, send the original, and editing steps to a SC member so that we can submit the original for you if you need validation while you're away.
