A fellow member with whom I correspond sent this to me today:

Bear,

The other day I idly looked at the Photogrpaher Profiles pages, to see
who were my contemporaries at DPC. One is you; we registered just days
apart. The interesting thing is that the entries are chronological ...
we're on about pages 42-43, and there are now nearly 1600 pages of
registrations! That's 47,000 people & 97% have arrived since we did. This thing is growing!

Now, that's amazing. I've been here just shy of a year... There are lots of conclusions/assumptiosn that can be derived from this.

You can SAY that, but compared to our membership at large I'm an old, old man by now, "older" than 95% or so... jejejeā„¢

NEWBIE NO MORE!

Well, don't feel too too old Robert, actually the membership list goes first by members, then by registered users, so it's not so easy to tell what your chronolgogical rank is.
Prolly easier to go by user number, then look at the number of the most recently registered user.

Well, damn... Though that does explain a lot; those were some VERY scary growth numbers...

Also, I think DPCPrints accounts are in that list (at least the account my mom made to buy one of my prints is), so it may not all be active members, some may just be customers. But regardless, it certainly seems to be growing! Getting HUGE!

What's scary is that you've been here for 11 months and have posted in the forums more than double the number of times I've posted and I've been here 2 months shy of 4 years. ;)

All I've got to say is, growth is good.

Hell, my username proves it.
