I have received 991 comments. Not looking for compliments - be honest and see if you can tell me something I don't know or recommend something (like "hire a real photographer"). I wish there was a checkbox for "This comment kicked ass and really helped me improve!" I have had a couple of those. :D
Whoever makes the 1000th comment wins! No prize, but it's likely I'll do something nice for you.

If I won, I'll be happy to give my golden slippy to Justin. After all, it really should go to someone who has been around longer than me. :)

First off, THANK YOU all for those comments. Zipped right up there to 1013!
Second - I would never give up a Golden Slippy! Except for a donut or piece of cheesecake maybe.
Third - I had to reply to some of the comments people left on some of the images and since the system counts my own comments, it looks like I won!
Fourth - Not really. ;-) If I remember my backwards counting correctly from my days at NASA, it was henry_buckle who gave me the 1000th comment. Although it has to be confirmed by an independent accounting firm.

I just received my 1000th comment during the landscape II challenge, a couple hours ago:)
I have made over 2600 comments.
