I have the Canon 300D which came with a BP-511 and the 20d which came with the BP-511a. I've read they are interchangable, but the 511a will last longer.
My question is, is there any problem using one 511 & one 511a in the battery grips at the same time?
Thanks!

Nope. I do it all the time. I also mix them with my 3rd party after market batteries in the grip too. They probably all come from the same place anyway just marketed under different names. LOL!!!

Thank you, Bill. I, too, have a couple 3rd party batteries. Nice to know I can mix them all up :)
