Anyone else experienced a huge increase in Shutterstock sales?

Since September the rate at which my sales at Shutterstock have increased is fantastic. In the last three months sales per day have trebled. That hasn't been the case at either iStock or Dreamstime.

Just wondered if anyone else had noticed?

yeah, i think they are doing some massive marketing.

It makes shutterstock very attractive.

No maximum uploads, and 3x+ the return of the other sites.

My income hasn't gone up 300% more like 150% in the last 2 months... quite disapointing.... ;-) LOL!!!

Yep, I've noticed a sharp increase over the past few weeks, too! I had practically forgotten about the site for a while, but now I'm back checking on it just about every day.

Just out of curiosity, how many photos do you all have on Shutterstock, and how much do you typically make in a month? I'm thinking of signing up, but I wanted to get an idea of the potential for extra $$$. I realize the "potential" is unlimited, but what's the norm? Thanks!

It truly depends. I have about 100 images up and at the October/November speed, I'll get about 6 checks (80) a year so $500 a year on 100 images?

I think my images are rather average... nothing special

I have just over 650 images up and average just $3.70 a day, making $1350 in a year. As you can see mavrik is actually making 2x what i am
