I don't have much extra cash cause I'm in the process of buying a condo, but I really need a Photoshop program. I see Photoshop Elements 4.0 on Ebay for $10. Does this sound right? Is this a bad idea? Is there any place that sells it for less than $100? Thanks.

I would be concerned whether it is legit or not at such a low price. Check into the seller to see if they are ok as well.

Software for "steal" prices on eBay is almost certainly exactly that. If you care about software developers, find a way to buy it "above board." Do you qualify for an educational discount? There are some great deals to be had, legally, if you're in any way a student, or affiliated with a college, university, or K-12 school district.

Go with the GIMP, //www.gimp.org ... it's FREE, much cheaper than full-blown photoshop and much more powerful than Photoshop Elements.
