Don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but there is a fortnightly prize competition being run by Canon to win a 350D each fortnight for best photo submitted for each challenge subject. First challenge is "Something you love". Don't appear to be any time constraints on when the image had to have been shot, but otherwise their rules appear to borrow a little from the DPC rules! The voting looks truly bizarre!

It may originate in the UK but there are several entries from outside the UK. I didn't check the official rules so am not sure whether those entries can win but it may be worth a try.
When I looked last there were 700+ entries. Kinda makes a DP Challenge with 500 entries ok (not).;o)

And the voting makes DPC voters seem entirely sane.
I think the rules say that you cannot win the 350D if you are outside the UK. But I bet you could enter and "know" that you could have won (but for an accident of geography).
Or you could get a UK DPCer to collect your prize for you! |
