I have a problem with my D70. In the past few weeks, I have noticed that my pictures are getting blurier and blurier. I take my time, focus on the eyes of my subject and still get very blurry pictures. Today I shot a wedding, and most the shots inside were ALOT worse than the outside shots.... although they were not much better.
I just wondered if anyone else ever this issue with their D70, and what you did to fix it.
I got the camera when it first came out, and I am worried that it is getting near the end of it's life cycle.(I have about 25,000+ clicks on the camera.) And now is NOT the time for that to happen. I am booked solid almost every weekend til Xmas! I am just so ready to give up!

Take a look at my portfiolo. You will see two "rulers" that I shot last night to test my focus. I had a feeling that my focus was bad. However, when I tested it, I found that it was "me" that was bad and the focus is ok.
I know this may be a rediculous question but have you adjusted your diopter?
Can you post some of the blurry shots?

I agree, there are just too many variables to say what the problem is or could possibly be.
Set up a ruler, focus on the 6" mark at about a 45 degree angle at the largest aperture you can...now do it again with another lens...compare the results yourself, or post them here.
Good luck -- oh, I think if it comes down to it, and since you said you're booked solid you gotta be pullin' in some dough, now'd be the perfect time to send the d70 in for service (if it so requires) and pick up a d70s or a d200 :D good luck.

LoL - I didn't say I would be raking in the dough! I wish that were the case. This time of year, I am my busiest.... but all the money goes to getting Christmas gifts for my kids and family. Since I am a stay at home mom.... my hubby makes our only income, and during this time I save up the money I make to afford Xmas. Sad - I know...
I plan to get the D70 out ASAP to Nikon.... and I am asking for money for Xmas this year for a new camera. Hopefully the D200! :)
I will try the ruler thing and see how that goes.
Thanks

Try the ruler before you send it in.

Well I'm not expert and I don't own a D70, but we have a friend who does and he does professional work- weddings and portraits. He told me that after so many shots that he takes it in to get it cleaned and serviced.
