Is this a decent zoom pic?
This duck was Faaarrrrr away. Shot at end of day with D70, 70-300mm 4.5 Nikon Zoom. Flashed with TTL SB800.
Tripod
Zoom was full to 300mm 450 Digital Eq.

Post the original. Without it, I can't tell if you're only 5 feet away from this little guy :) |

Looks great to me- I recently bought a 70-300mm and I can't get anything near that good from that distance:)

Looks really great. Exactly what lens did you use?

Keep in mind that I had my super SB800 flash on my D70. Before I got it, the ducks would come out "siloettes" (sp).

I used
Nikon Zoom Telephoto AF Zoom Nikkor 70-300MM F/4.0-5.6D ED Autofocus Lens
However, remember I used a tripod and my SB800 Flash. This summer w/o the tripod I got many "blurs" !
Thanks for comments!
