I've ordered the Pocket Wizards and the Alien Bee 800's. I was daydreaming about my new set-up when it hit me that I forgot to order cords to connect the two!
Am I correct that I need to also purchase 3 of these (for my 3 lights)?
Miniphone to Miniphone Cable
Are there any cheaper alternatives? $18 seems steep! LOL

Didn't you just spend $7800.00 -- now buy the $18 cords and get it done!!! Seriously though, good luck, I don't know the answer, bump.

"Miniphone" or 1/8" phone plugs are what are used to connect computer speakers and the like -- try Radio Shack. These (the B&H wires) may be made of heavier-gauge wire than speaker wires, but I bet you can also buy a few feet of cable and a couple pairs of connectors for under $10.

That is what I was thinking. I was wondering why b&h was so expensive. I need miniphone to miniphone......not PC to Miniphone.
LOL about how much I spent. I thought I was *done* spending money.....another $60 just sucks ;) Now, if it was $60 on something fun like filters, I wouldn't be complaining..LOL
