I am trying to add some photos to my portfolio. I uploaded 11 photos but I can only see 7 of them. Is it my computer being screwy again or am I doing something wrong with 1/2 the photos?

Also, what size photos do you guys upload to your portfolios?

Thanks :)

I can see all 11 of them ... I upload no larger than 640x... headed back to look at your new upload :)

Thanks, I don't know WHAT is up with this computer lately. I cannot even get to the Window's Update page. *sigh* As long as Photoshop works, I'm good ;)

I think the ones I uploaded were 750px....is it ok to leave the watermarks? I have them all on there from my personal website.

Thanks again for your help!
Jenn

Also, should I space my uploads out a bit? I don't know if uploading too many at once hurts anyone else. (like it does on another site I belong too) I don't want to tick anyone off...LOL

Yep, I can see them all. Very nice stuff. :-) I usually upload at 640 on the longest side and at about 80-100kb. I used to save them at 150kb but I'm running out of portfolio space and I hate to delete stuff. Something to think about for the future. :-) Watermarks are fine for portfolio shots, just don't add them to your challenge entries or you'll be dq'ed.

Sounds like you might have some spyware on your system or maybe even a trojan lurking in the background. If you are running XP try going to www.microsoft.com and d/ling their free anti-spyware tool. It does a great job of getting that stuff off your system.

norton firewall, right? I have the same problem. I have just learned to live with it. it sucks. If anybody has a fix please let us know. I can disable norton all together and I can see everything, but that sucks.

Yep, I use Norton. We have several spyware programs and a clean "Hijack This" log so I do not think it is spyware. I think we may be missing some IE files or registration keys or something. We had a big spyware problem that was fixed, but then it cause the current problem. Who knows...LOL!

In Norton, go to the ad-blocking preferences and set it to allow dpchallenge.com. In the box that says "permit," put / (a slash). That should fix it.

No, I can't see them...but then again I am posting to the thread. Can't do two things at once...not that coordinated.
