Here are the better shots i took today to be used for the Holiday Pet Portrait project I am working on with a local pet groomer.
I learned a lot today..so try and imaine a green BG, there will be an xmas tree, and all should be on a table with white snow and red ribbons instead of the white sheet.

The owners were not there, the cat, well, he was a cat.

Input please - If you were paying $16 (or more...) would you be happy if you were the customer? If not...what needs improved?

These look wonderful, yes I would pay more then $16! The one's with the hat's are compositional the best, the shot of the cat is to tight. The lighting looks good to me. Good luck and please share more after the final shoot.

the screen we had handy for the BG looked good in person...looks like an animal cage in some of these shots. Better than the bathroom door and fire extinguisher there it was hiding. I plan to have a green muslin BG.

The cat...he refused to do anything but hug the table. The table had a white sheet on it. I didn't know what to do to get a decent shot of that cat. Oh, well, we tried!

BTW, you cannot make a basset hound smile.
