Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS USM

I have to upload the original file in order tho validate my entry but I can't attach the file in my email(tryed 3 different emails and different PC's). Is there any other way to send my photo to DPC. Please HELP!!! Thx.

what type of operating system are you using, and what type of email programs have you tried?

windows XP, yahoo mail(2addr) & email.ro, I also tryed with 3 browsers: Internet Explorer,Opera and FireFox

How about clicking on 'Challenges' link and clicking on your image you want validated and then requesting an admin note for it? You will be able to upload using the browser (unless something is broken)

Georgio,

You should be able to upload the image using the web form on the validation page. Is this not working for you? If not, what error message are you getting?

Nevermind, I see that isn't working for you (we're getting incomplete originals).

What error message are you getting when you try to email the file?

Also, we'll need you to include a list of editing steps in your email.

None.It's just doesn't attach the file.It shows me that the page is loading...and nothing then.I waited like 2-3 hours looking at the page and nothing happens. I have the original photo and all the editing steps and I still try to send the file as we speak.I really do hope that I won't be desqualified.

P.S: could I send the file through Yahoo Messenger to one of the administration members? (just a thought). :)

I've never been in your spot, so I am not the best person to reply but I would put the picture on a CD and run it over to my local library where they have highspeed connections that are really reliable.

Next, I would go across the way to my neighborhood computer repair shop (my local ISP would be my secons choice here) and plead with them to mail it off for me. Give them a couple of bucks or buy them a pizza for lunch - geeks love pizza!

Now I know both of these sound dopey, but they are the steps I would actually try. And my experience with others is that they really like to help.

Are you talking about your Light on White entry?
The challenge is "Basic Editing" only, so you'd get a DQ anyway even if you did submit the original for validation.
