ok, I have been shooting alot of Nature this year since i got my new S1 Is, and as you all know, the S1 has the mechanized zoom. Here's my problem... the humidity has caused loud gear noise! like to the point where it is very noticable. Now, i have a 4 year extended warranty, but it's through Best Buy, it does cover this, but I have been warned by many people that with digital repairs can do more harm than good. So, what should i do? let it go, or take it in?

Last time I had a problem with my camera I brought it back to best buy and they just replaced it (upgraded actually). |
