First, I never buy lottery tickets of any kind. I think I may have bought three before today.

So on my way from one office to the other this morning I stopped to get a pint of Ben and Jerry's ice cream (my worst vice, surprised I am not like 300 lbs. or something since I eat a pint EVERY DAY). As I get out of my truck I see this paper on the ground that doesn't immediately register in my brain and I go in and get the ice cream. I was just about to get back into my truck and I notice the same paper on the ground and this time it registers - money. I walk over and pick it up - not 1, not 2, but 5 20.00 dollar bills folded just lying on the ground waiting for me to find it. I go back in the store and ask if anyone has lost any money and the answer is no. So it must have been a customer who is now long gone. So free money for me.

Anyway, while back in the store this guy is so excited about his lottery winnings on a scratch off ticket he is telling me (someone I have never met before) that I should buy one of these. I will win money. I am thinking I just found 100.00 so 10.00 on a scratch off ticket won't hurt. I am thinking maybe my luck is in the right place. I buy one ticket. I just got finished scratching off the stuff and well the guy was right - I won 80.00 on the lottery ticket.

I read this thread to get some free money - So where do I apply? :)

They say these things happen in threes, so maybe you should buy a ticket to whatever big numbers lottery you have over there...

unless lightning strikes me with an idea, no ribbons for me in the near future. I have been drawing complete blanks the past weeks as far as challenges are concerned.

A case of beer AND a lense for $100?? What lense is that inexpensive?

Filled my truck up with gas - full to the brim - 62.50
Bottle of imported rum as a gift for someone - 39.40
Bag of dog food for each dog - 26.00
Took a friend to lunch - 23.00

The rest is burning a hole in my pocket as I type this.
