I've seen cameras and lenses for sale here before. My question is: Is it appropriate/allowed to offer computer components for sale in the forums?

ok,

I have a almost new canon 75-300 IS USM, barely used less then 100 shots out of it, i have never used it since i got my Canon 24-70, i have all the packaging and the recipt no scratches or scuffs or anything, if anyone would like to give me an offer PM me, please, i dont know how to use ebay that well and would rather keep it in the DPC community.
also maybe willing to trade for an equal value canon lens, im lookig for a wider angle less then my 24-70
Thanks
Troy

OK, then we can make this an "Items for Sale" thread.

I have a nice 19" View Sonic View Sonic PF790 Monitor that I was going to post on Craigslist.

This monitor is ideal for photo editing, gaming, graphic design or anything requiring high image quality. Rock bottom price $100.00 firm, plus packing and shipping.

It is in great shape; except that the base has been misplaced. You might be able to get another, or wait until I get into my storage unit to locate it.

PM me for more info.

why would you want to get rid of your long lens. To me it would complement you lens collection?
