I have Canon 20D and just got Rebel 350 as a backup camera. I take picture in RAW format. Both camera give me files with an extension CR2. I have no problem with viewing them in IrfanView program but I cannot open Rebel’s file in PS CS (I can open the 20D files without any trouble). What is wrong with Rebel’s RAW files? Are these files different even they have the same extensions? Any suggestions?

Actually, scratch what I posted. CS doesn't support the 350, only CS2, I believe.

You are right. Photoshop CS does not support the CR2 files from the 350D but Photoshop CS2 will.

Tough to find the answer on the Adobe official site, but like MK and SDW65 says it looks like CS doesn't support 350D.

They really bury the updates for PS7 ,CS,Elements 3 but it's easy to find the info for the newest CS2 and Elements 4.

Thanks for the prompt response. I guess I have to use Canon’s software for while. Any other option except getting PS CS2?

If you click on "downloads" under the support menu, you can view all the updates for all the versions of each program.
