I'm thinking in upgrading the RSEssensials to Premium. I know that a lot of you guys have already give it a go or at least a try. So what do you think? I know have PS CS and RSE. I'm still shooting weddings in jpeg because I almoust always print proofs next to the ceremony to sell prints to the gests. When I work in jpeg I rename the files and I do the proofs with PS cs and the name of the file (witch is the number of the photo) apears near to it. I'm affraid of the time this could take by working in raw, but with this new version if it is as they say it might be good.

Any general thoughts about the payed version (Premium)?

In general?
I like it.
Jpeg proofs are very quickly converted from raw, I just tried that, and it's an option I realy wanted.
Also the curves and Levels work great.
You can make a profile that you can then add to your workflow, to give those proofs a bit more of you're style..
At this upgrade price I think it's a must have.

Probably a good idea to take the current offer if your interested in this program's extra features.... (fifty nine dollars now untill Nov 1, then 99 bucks) - This program is good, I think well worth the sale price. Speed of conversion is faster, plus a few extras......

I downloaded and installed it yesterday and I think it's worth the money, especially with the current price offer! Thank god they've implemented the batch renaming! :)

I love the software, and it's my RAW conversion tool of choice. Hands down.

RSP has a feature for direct downloading from a card reader, renaming files in batches, making proofs for rapid production.

It sounds like it's right up your alley.

Sould check out the review at Digital Outback

It's $59 till the end of this month, then it's $99, I think.
Also, they have a 15 day free trial. Maybe you can try it out today and tomorrow and buy it for the intro price on the 31st if you like it.

I purchased it a few days ago, have had the free version since just after it was released. It did things I didnt know you could do with RAW files and I was very happy with it. I havent really had time to use the Premium (paid) version yet but am sure it will be worth every penny and more spent on it especially at the introductory price.

The one thing I love is that they are very proactive in listening to their users and have developed this software with this in mind in a very short space of time. I am sure they will continue to give their users the same consideration in future development too so I say go for it, I dont think you will be dissappointed.

Let me add to what other like that the rotating and cropping tools work very well. Draw a line and it levels the image - simple as that. The crop is easily resized or moved on the image. Both features work well.

I think in the forum they covered this yesterday, the license covers 2 computers so your laptop and desktop will be covered by the one license.
