Every year we carve our own pumpkiks and they can be a bit nasty for cleaning. But this year I used a wire wheel and my drill. First I cut the top (duh), but I cut off my bottoms also. I pitch those. And when your remove the bottom most of the seeds come with it and then there are the membrain, there is where the wire whell comes in vary handy ( this also works well for thinning the face area out also) So you just wire wheel have way down from the bottom, then shake, then flip and do top half. I did 6 basketball sized ones in lest than 45 mins. I did do these over a plastic bag.
Also never remove the drill while doing this or its not the clean way anymore.
I thought of Tim Allen when doing this.... |
