Im looking for a wide angle lens and came across this ad at work on the company web site. Any thoughts. I have a 300D

To fit Canon EOS film/digital SLR's.
Tokina 19/35mm F3.5/4.5 wide angle zoom lens,on a digital
camera this would correspond to approx 12/23mm.
Comes with caps and hood.
£70 to include post and packing.

On the digital it would actually be 30-56mm, if your looking for a more wide angle I would look at the 12-24mm tokina, but it is $500 US and only works on digital but it would give you a focal length of 19-38mm on the digital. hope this helps.

Thanks GreenGiant. I talked to the guy who has the lens and he said he was unsure about 12/23mm on a digital sensor, but I feel the price may still be a little high ??
