I have 2 hardrives in my comp case, one stacked on top of the other

and the tempature betwwen them is about 145 degrees F

is that safe?
i mean 145 F is pretty hot

The few Western Digital drives I checked were rated up to 50C (~135F) -- so yours seems a bit warm. Your best bet is to check the drives manufacturer for the safe operating range.

A simple fix (if they are literally stacked on top of each other) is to place them farther apart so more air can circulate -- after that, forcing the air to circulate with fans is an option.
