Prof_fate (Chris) recently asked me about the Canon 70-210 lens I have listed in my profile. Since I haven't shot with it much I decided to take it for a spin on the weekend.

Some of what I saw (others would give away a challenge entry)

I like the cattail shot best, but a pileated woodie and ruffed grouse in the open is quite unusual and nice.

Thanks for the id. I was wondering what it was. He/she wasn't too much in the open, just a very small clearing. Thanks for your other comments.

Good weekend I would say. I think I like the catails the best. The deer is almost hidden which is prefect for the season.
