I've been looking all over for the Canon 28-135mm USM with IS. It seems B&H and Adorama are back ordered.
Is Canon discontinuing this lens? I see that Ritz camera has this lens at +$100 more. |

Perhaps the rebate thing? It is on my list as the next thing to get...i am selling crap, i mean treasures and collectibles on ebay to raise the funds. this lens on ebay is gooing for $360+ right now, probably beacuse of the 'shortage'. I would think it is big seller and the shortage is only temporary. With my luck, canon will release the replacement, a 18-200 2.8-4.5 IS L lens for $300 the day after i buy a used 28-135!
there is a rebate on this lens till 12/31. |

I had one and sold it, it just didn't fire my rockets. Most of my shots were underexposed and the macro feature is nothing like the Sigmas.

the underexposure has NOTHING to do with the lens.. it must have been something else... such as a bright background, sky... or something.
