| I'm just confirming there is no hack out there which enables second curtain sync on the 300D...is this true? |

| Not that I found can only be done with an external unit, I puchased a sigma EF500 DG Super flash for a lil over $200 (like 250 after shipping). Despite the fact I am lighting challanged I think it is a good flash and has a second curtian, ttl , strobe, built in difusser, lcd display, and all that fun stuff :) |

The Russian hack does not enable the second curtain syn option.
I'm not 100% sure about the undutchable hack, but I don't think it allows this feature either.

The Canon 550EX and 580EX aloow you to do 2nd curtain sync with the D-Rebel. The 550EX can be had for pretty cheap these days since the 580EX came out.

Undutchables doesn't have a working 2nd curtain flash either.

I'm really looking forward to getting this 2nd Curtain Sync for my 300D
If anyone knows how to enable it or knows where a hack available for this is... please let me know. |

My Metz 54 flash will do the second curtain thing as well. I have yet to try it.
Looks like you're gonna have to get a flash. New toys are FUN! |
