Not wanting to be a kill-joy but for the last 3 days we have had trick or treaters coming round and of course we have had nothing in the way of sweets (candies) to give out as I thought Halloween was Monday October 31. Am I wrong. You guys in The US will know better. Maybe next year I will stock up in August :-)

August is about the time you see Halloween/Christmas stuff in stores.

a lot of communities have their kids go out earlier even days before halloween because it conflicts with school or something like that.

Maybe I will just have stock up and make sure I don't eat them all first

When my kids got bored, (or wanted candy) they would dress up and go out in the middle of the year.
(Knock Knock)
"Trick or Treat - 4 months early!"

Amazing thing is, they actually came back with loot!

Cheap, summertime fun.

Thanks Guys trick or treat hasnt been around in the Uk as long as it has in the US.

Play a trick and hand out 110 film to all the kids when they come to the door :P

have also seen the local council putting up Christmas lights around the town this week ???
