Only comment I can think of is that the page seems a little "heavy" on the left side - you have your logo in the top left, the slideshow on the left, and your major headings on the left.
Maybe move the logo or slide show to the center or right to balance?

Otherwise, it looks really good.

One thing I noticed, some of the images don't appear to match the aspect ratios on the prints available. For instance, a square image is listed for 4x5, 8x10, etc. Same thing for some panoramic type images. Some picky customers might see this as misrepresentation when they get their prints. Otherwise, looks good.

Thanks for that heads up.

Just redid my calculations, and opened up another gallery for landscapes.

The heavy left side is unavoidable since this is a rental space, and not my actual website. Darn it.

Thanks again.

A couple of spellings

guarentee should be guarantee
appropieate should be appropriate

I'm not a fan of a black background, and the hyperlinks to galleries seem a little too temporary. You should consider using more than one page and paring down the information for each.

Way TOO busy - keep it simple

Some grammar. "Coach Gauts Pony Winter Baseball team 2005." With respect to "Gauts" Is his last name G-A-U-T-S? If so, there should be an apostrophe after the "s" -- Gauts'. If his name is G-A-U-T, the word should end "'s" -- Gaut's. Since "team" is part of a title, it should be capitalized.

Try running a spell-check on your text and have a friend proof it for you. I draft a lot of letters, and can read right over my own errors. It's embarassing when I find them a month later after the letter has gone out 8(.

I just caught an error of my own on this post. See what I mean?

THANKS for the spelling check, and grammar.

I never was one of those people that could spell correctly, and I seem to write like I talk. Which isn't good either.

As far as my proportions, I.E., the size of my edits and the size of a print, are they better?

Does anybody have a formula, link, book, advice on the values of getting the correct print size to the final edited piece?

Thanks in advance.

1.) Email address kingthom01@yahoo.com looks unprofessional, something like Thom.Marshall@printroom.com (or @gmail.com) would look better.

2.) "carol sue lane"... should be "Carol Sue Lane", unless you are going for a lower case effect throughout the entire site. Consistency is paramount!

3.) "NOTE:There may be some cropping when ordering prints. To avoid cropping, simply download the pictures to a CD and find a professional printing service that can guarantee appropriate dimension as per the edit."
Why can't you print using the fit-to-page (with a little white border if necess.)? This "note" says please don't order any prints, because they won't look right. A satisfaction guarantee would be better, if you're not happy money back, or discount on first order.

4.) A general rule of thumb for websites is to fit the page real estate in the window (and I suppose 1024x768 is prob'ly the most used res, currently). People are lazy and won't always scroll to find something, and press the back button instead! The index for galleries might work better as a 3rd right or left column. Don't be afraid to use the width of the page.

5.) Consistency again. If the front page has the blue background and the gallery pages (which seem to be nice and usable BTW) have a white background, there is a disconnect. Maybe they could have one background colour, or the links for the galleries could have some of the white colour, and the link back with blue. - Just a suggestion. Personally I'd go with something nice n easy on the eye - like grey, or a pastel shade near grey.

6.) Red text is awful! (Why do those folks who do credits never use red text?)

7.) I think the slide show on the front could be better, with bigger shots, and no border/ a simple border.

Hope this helps!

well being a web designer, I would suggest you move the search up onto the top. This is a basic usuability fact. The logo isnt strong enoough for my taste, and the bg colour doesnt help it pop!

you should really have some kind of a top horizontal navigation. you have to scrll even on a 1024 res. Move them up.

hope it helps, and good luck

cheers
