Online Christmas puzzles

Mine is "Christmas Angel". It would appear all of the puzzle images (for this particular puzzle) were purchased from Istock. This is the first time I've ever found out what one of my stock photos was used for- funny! I think it's cool that the site made a credit and use disclaimer (even if they did misspell courtesy:)

Way to go Andi! It does happen from time to time apparently... I actually had one of my istock shots arrive recently in my mailbox at home on page 7 of a trade magazine, so I know what a little thrill it can be. Your Christmas Angel is a beautiful shot, by the way. Congrats!

Sorry to put a dampner on your achievment, but if you had these shots on MyLoupe/Alamy for example a shot used for "puzzles" would have earnt you well over US$150. You guys already have the equipment, the talent and an eye for stock. Take the next step and sign into a traditional stock library. These micro sites are just going to destroy the stock industry.

Well, people are gonna start crying now about stuff, but before that happens, I would like to say that I agree. Quit selling stuff for $.10 -- it's not so much the fact that you're selling stuff for $.10, but it's the fact that these businesses that are 'selling your photos for you' are the only ones getting rich.

Heck, if you want to sell your photos for $.10 go do it on your own...but just realize that istock and shutterstock are not only cheapening the industry at your expense, but they're getting rich off of it at the same time.
