Stuff like this frustrates me, since I can't hear. Anyone care to clue me in on what has her so torqued off?

I wouldn't call it funny. The woman obviously has issues, real or otherwise.

She keeps insisting they come around every year and take 'illegal photographs' -- something about them not being allowed to take pictures there, even though there doesn't seem to be anyone with a still camera. She also keeps ordering (at top volume), 'call 911 NOW!' -- although there doesn't seem to be anyone around but the video cameras and her. She doesn't seem to be concerned about the cameera recording her, just the one off-camera -- and at the end it switches to a camera farther away and moves in on her.
In short the monologue consists mainly of 'Stop taking illegal photographs', 'give me the film' (?? film ??), 'give me your card' and 'call 911 now!' -- repeated over and over again in what appears to be a mostly empty and uninteresting parking lot.
All in all, it looks very staged -- there is even a bit at the beginning where she looks to be waiting for her cue to begin while the cameramen try to muffle their laughter.

I'm with cpanaioti on this one.
A number of things could be going through the womans mind. Perhaps the muffled laughter that can be heard at the beginning was the group of indivduals laughing, maybe mocking her. *shrugs shoulders* Maybe that was why she reacted in the manner that she did.
Perhaps the sight of a photographer has some form of pyschological affect on her in the same way an individual might react to say a spider, a blue car, or anything that might trigger a truamatic memory. Perhaps she had a dirty uncle Reg who took inappropriate images of her as a child. The list is endless.
Without coming across as all anal I find it slightly disappointing for individuals to instantly sell her off a loon or wacko.
Just my thoughts anyway. |
