This was an 8 stall barn with feed and tack room. All was lost. No horses or people were hurt.

That is awful. At least no one was injured.

I'm so glad no lives were lost and no one was injured. It's a shame about the barn. I hope they are insured.

I know they were insured. I just hope they had their fire protection policy paid up. Out here if you don't buy it. You have to pay the fire
department $1000 per truck and $250 per person who is fighting the fire.

Considering its a total loss anyway, seems cheaper to just let it burn to the ground without them

Thanks, I will. I did find out tonight that they did loose some chickens, rabbits and a desert tortous in the fire. As well as this once new John Deere tractor.
