...your submission is scoring lower than you expeced? This week and last week, my submissions scored worse than I expected. It's sort of depressing, but after last week, this week isnt so hard ;) I think maybe I had a hard time being objective about my own photos.

I know just how you feel! This week had an all time low of 4.8, didn't even want to log in for all of a few hours after that. Thankfully climbed up to 5.5 now, not quite as painful!

One of my photos is doing pretty well, and the other one is not :(
It keeps changing from 4.9 to 5 and I really hope it stays above 5. I didn't think the photo would do too well, but I didn't know why. I submitted it to get some comments telling mewhy. I have 1 so far and it is quite useful.

Yup, but in the end I often agree. As long as there is someone who tells me why they give a low score I can (or should LOL) improve. It is really frustrating when you score low and nobody tells you why.

My travel shot is scoring a 3.8 right now. You either get it or you don't and even then it is a question if you like it or not. You probably need some long distance travel experience to appreciate it. When I entered it I already expected it to score a 3-4, I know how I can improve it, but as it is it captured what I wanted it to capture, so I am happy with it.

The portrait is doing well for my standards, expected a bit more, but I already know what improvements it needs, just no opportunity to do it.
