Is this directly out of the camera? no post processing?

i like the long exposure but there are a few things i would suggest. one...i dont think the yellow on the tree does the pine any justice. try selecting just the tree trunk and doing a hue shift. I like that you went with the rule of thirds and the light streaks are great. I would also choose a night when there isnt any wind as the blur of the pine needles is a distraction from the light streaks. good focus on the lights and the tree trunk which i know is a hard thing to do at night. you are pretty much working blind there. all in all i think you did an excellent job on your first try...learning new things is half the fun( the other half is mastering them) have a great day and I hope i have helped you.not intended to be mean or nit picky :o) ~~Cher~~
