Recently I got an Imac. I've edited my "Light on White" entry and something doesn't seem to fit. My photo looks great on Photoshop, but when I submit this photo, it looks much lighter.
Are there some settings I have to change? Does somebody know what happened? |

Do you use 'Save for web' or 'save as'? |

Hm, I had the same problem, but for me, proofing the colours while editing (View - Proof Colors) or using 'save as' including the color profile worked fine. I don't use an iMac, though, so let's just wait for the Mac people to comment. Good luck! |

I checked on a PC, but my photo looks very light there also. I really don't understand! |

I used to have that problem when i did "save for web". I solved it but doing:
Image -> Mode -> convert to profile -> sRGB IEC61966-2.1
that seems to sort it out. I'm not sure if it'll help with you, but I thought it might be worth a shot!
Good luck!

in photoshop CS2 the convert to profile option is found in the edit menu. thats on a PC though. not sure about a mac. look around the program, convert to profile has to be there somewhere.
